Mila Hernandez is an experienced HR/People Ops Director with a passion for people management and recruitment in start-up environments. With over 14 years of relevant experience, Mila is skilled in talent acquisition, people operations, talent management, employee engagement/relations, business development, and implementing organizational Human Resources initiatives. Mila is committed to continuous improvement and strives to be better every day, both in her work and personal life. Currently, Mila is serving as the Director of People Operations at Mahmee, an integrated benefits platform for maternal and infant health. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, people operations, talent management, and employee engagement/relation. In her subsequent role as People Operations Manager, Mila continued to develop and implement HR initiatives while also managing employee relations and engagement. Mila holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Cal State Hayward and studied the same field at San Francisco State University. With her extensive experience and passion for people management, Mila is a valuable asset to any organization looking to build a strong HR team.
